After a four-game absence due to a left calf strain, the Boston Celtics announced Kristaps Porzingis is available for Friday's game against the New York Knicks.

The seven-foot-three center participated in Wednesday's practice and took part in a scrimmage that day.

He then expressed, "Calf is good. I got a good session in, up and down, went through the full practice, and feeling good."

Boston is 10-1 when it has had its starting five of Derrick White, Jrue Holiday, Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum, and Porzingis. That unit has, far and away, the highest plus-minus rating at plus-9.7, per NBA.com.

The Celtics, 15-5 overall, have the second-best record in the Association. They're aiming to bounce back from Monday's 122-112 In-Season Tournament quarterfinal loss to the Indiana Pacers. It helps they'll get to do so at TD Garden, where they're 9-0 this season.

As for the visitors, the Knicks, 12-8 overall, are sixth in the Eastern Conference. They are 6-5 on the road.

Friday night's matchup will tip-off at 7:30 EST at TD Garden. Inside The Celtics will have content related to the game before, during, and afterward. Follow @BobbyKrivitsky on Twitter for updates and analysis from pregame to post.
