Boston Celtics' star Jayson Tatum has been having another MVP-caliber season, as he is fifth in the ballot, averaging 26.9 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 4.4 assists, shooting 47 percent from the field and 36.1 percent from three.

Though his play is prominently judged by his success in the postseason with his main focus on winning a championship, Tatum has once again been the best player on the league's best team throughout the regular season. The three-time All-NBA figure is leading Boston's system on both ends, steering them to a league-leading 35-11 record.

He's also seen a rise in popularity, evidenced by receiving the third-most votes for the All-Star Game, which he will start in for the fourth straight year.

The latest data on NBA jersey sales reinforces the two-time All-NBA First Team selection's rise in popularity. His is the second-highest selling one in the Association, behind only Stephen Curry.

Finally getting over the hump for that elusive championship and earning the Celtics their 18th banner will give Tatum more of a nod towards the best player in basketball than he already is.
