Several Celtics Starters Questionable for Game vs. Spurs
On Monday night at Scotiabank Arena, the Boston Celtics improved their NBA-leading record to 31-9.
They did so with a 105-96 win over the Toronto Raptors, completing a regular season sweep of their Atlantic division foe for the second straight year.
Now the C's return to TD Garden, where they're 19-0, establishing a new franchise record for their best start to a season when playing on their home floor.
A day in advance of Wednesday's matchup against rookie phenom Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs, the hosts list several starters as questionable for the contest.
Jrue Holiday and Derrick White, who tied for a team-high 22 points in Monday's victory vs. the Raptors are dealing with a right ankle sprain and a left ankle sprain, respectively.
Kristaps Porzingis is on the injury report due to right knee inflammation. The seven-foot-three center registered 15 points, six rebounds, and two blocks in Boston's win against Toronto.
Wednesday's matchup will tip off at 7:30 p.m. EST. Inside The Celtics will have content related to the game before, during, and afterward. Follow @BobbyKrivitsky on Twitter for updates and analysis from pregame to post.
