Former Celtic Brandon Hunter Tragically Passes Away

In this story:
At the 2003 NBA Draft, the Boston Celtics selected Brandon Hunter with the 27th pick in the second round (56th overall).
The former Ohio Bobcat appeared in 36 games in his lone season in Boston, cracking the starting lineup 12 times and averaging 3.5 points and 3.3 rebounds in 11.3 minutes per contest.
The Charlotte Bobcats then selected the Ohio native in the 2004 expansion draft. However, they traded Hunter to the Orlando Magic before he ever suited up for them.
The six-foot-seven power forward played in 31 games with Orlando, producing 3.1 points and 2.2 rebounds in 7.2 minutes per contest.
Hunter then enjoyed an eight-year career overseas, taking his talents to Greece, Italy, Puerto Rico, Israel, Turkey, Latvia, Germany, and France. He retired from playing professional basketball in 2013.
Tragically, Hunter passed away, per his former collegiate coach at Ohio, Jeff Boals. The former, just 42 years old, reportedly collapsed while doing yoga.
Hunter, who earned a spot on the All-MAC First Team for three straight years while starring for Ohio University, is still the school's leading rebounder.
