Heat vs. Nuggets: How to Watch, Lineups, Injury Report, Betting Lines for Game 3 of NBA Finals
In Game 2 of the NBA Finals, the Denver Nuggets went on a 40-14 run at home, where they were yet to lose this postseason. But the Miami Heat remain scorching hot from beyond the arc and again outclassed an opponent in the fourth quarter.
After putting 26 points or fewer on the board in each of the first three frames, the visitors erupted for 36 while limiting the hosts to 25, rallying for a series-tying 111-108 win.
As John Schuhmann of NBA.com captured, what Miami's doing in the fourth quarter of its run, going from participating twice in the play-in tournament to being three wins from a championship, is remarkable.
Here's what you need to know about Game 3, as the NBA Finals moves to South Beach.
Game time: 8:30 p.m. ET
Where: Kaseya Center
TV: ABC
Betting line: Heat +2.5
Injury update:
Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra on Tyler Herro, whose right-hand fracture will keep him out of Game 3:
"We're taking it one day at a time. I know that may sound like a cliché. He did practice with the group, and he's gonna do a full-contact practice after this. We'll evaluate that. We'll meet with the training staff later on today, and we'll continue this process. He hasn't been cleared yet, so that's where we are. But we're encouraged by the work he's been doing."
