The Golden State Warriors are expected to host the 2025 NBA All-Star Weekend at Chase Center, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic. The Celtics allegedly had an interest in hosting that year's All-Star Weekend and have also bid on hosting the 2026 All-Star Weekend.

The Boston Celtics and Warriors faced off against each other in the 2022 NBA Finals. Boston started the championship series off with a bang, as thanks to a fourth-quarter comeback, it beat the Warriors on the road in Game 1 of the championship series.

The Celtics also won Game 3 of the 2022 NBA Finals to take a 2-1 series lead. But Stephen Curry and the Warriors then went on to defeat the Celtics in the next three games of the series to win the NBA title.

Curry took home the Finals MVP award, as he averaged 31.2 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 5.0 assists per game for the series.

While the Warriors spoiled the Celtics' chances of hosting the 2025 NBA All-Star Weekend — as well as winning the 2022 NBA title — Boston still has a chance to host All-Star festivities in 2026.
