LA Clippers star Kawhi Leonard is known for elevating his game in the postseason, which is something Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler has also proven the ability to do. According to Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard, Butler is similar to Leonard in the way he can reach a new level in the playoffs.

Leonard unfortunately played just two games this postseason before tearing his meniscus, but he was absolutely dominant in those two games, much like he has been for the entirety of his playoff career. Butler certainly has some of that in him as well, which is a large reason why the Heat have made this run to the NBA Finals.
While Miami has gotten some great play from their role players, Butler has been their best player for the entirety of this playoff run, and has had some truly special moments. According to Damian Lillard, Butler is similar to Kawhi Leonard in the way both players can get more engaged in the postseason, which leads to an increased level of dominance.
