Clippers Player Reacts to Jamal Murray Dominating Lakers

Denver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray has been dominant in the Western Conference Finals. Averaging 35.0 PPG, 7.3 RPG, and 5.3 APG on 52/46/93 splits so far in the series, Murray has been destroying the Lakers, and has his Nuggets one win away from the NBA Finals.

While Murray was amidst his 30-point first half explosion on Saturday night, LA Clippers forward Robert Covington reacted to his performance with this Tweet:

The entire NBA world was impressed with what Murray was doing, as he somehow took his already dominant game to another level in Game 3. The Nuggets needed every bit of it, as the Lakers were previously unbeaten on their home floor in the postseason.

Now one win away from the NBA Finals, the Nuggets know the job is far from finished. This group is not satisfied with a Western Conference Finals appearance, or even a Finals appearance. Denver wants to win the whole thing, and with the way Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic are playing, they have a great opportunity to do just that.

For the Lakers, they are taking this 3-0 deficit one game at a time. Maintaining belief that they can make history, LA's focus is on Game 4. They will have to do a much better job containing Murray, as his dominance through three games has the Lakers on the brink of elimination.
