Russell Westbrook Gives Hilarious Response to Patrick Beverley's Trash Talk

In this story:
From rivals to close friends, Patrick Beverley and Russell Westbrook have a very fun relationship. The two players were seen embracing before Monday night's game between the LA Clippers and Chicago Bulls, but that mutual love quickly went out the window for the next 48 minutes.
Russell Westbrook scored the first basket of the game for the Clippers, and it came through contact over Patrick Beverley. Looking to the crowd and doing his signature rock the baby celebration, Westbrook quickly got back at Beverley for some pregame trash talk that the Bulls guard had.
On an episode of his podcast, Beverley revealed he texted Westbrook that he was going to bust the Clippers' ass in this game. After the game, Beverley's podcast account posted a hilarious video of Westbrook responding to the trash talk:
Russell Westbrook and Patrick Beverley being friends now after all these years is the coolest thing.

As previously mentioned, these are two players who used to really go at it, both on the court and in the media. Having been teammates briefly with the Los Angeles Lakers earlier this season, the two put that all behind them, and became very close friends.
Beverley has spoken incredibly highly of Westbrook, calling him a brother for life. Before Monday night's game, Beverley reunited with his former teammates Terance Mann and Ivica Zubac, and asked them how Westbrook was doing. Beverley told them that Westbrook is a great dude, and it was very cool to hear the former Clippers guard talk this way about Westbrook.
While these two players are friends now off the court, they are fierce competitors on the court, and will continue to go at each other as opponents.
