Ty Lue Shares Hilarious Reaction to Steph Curry's 50-Point Game vs. Clippers

In this story:
After surviving a 50-point explosion from Steph Curry, LA Clippers head coach Ty Lue shared a hilarious immediate reaction, saying, "I've seen it a lot of times." Having faced Curry and the Warriors three times in the NBA Finals, Lue has certainly seen a lot of dominant showings from the superstar point guard, which he referenced with a chuckle after Wednesday night's game.
In addition to his initial joke about Curry's big night, Lue shared some more in-depth thoughts as well:
"I think especially when a guy like that explodes, to keep your composure and keep staying with the game plan - I thought we kind of tried to take them out of what they were doing, and Steph just made [a lot] of shots. We tried to blitz, we tried to fire, he split it, he dribbled around it. Made some tough shots, some scoop shots falling down. He had it going tonight. But I just like the way we kept our composure. I thought in that first quarter defensively we were good, and after that Steph got going, so it was kind of hard to gauge how good our defense was. I thought our offense was really good. I thought that in the third and fourth quarter we really executed our offense, didn’t get stagnant, had thirty assists and then we only had one turnover in the second half. We had two at the end of the game that we just held and took the violation, but one turnover so six turnovers in the game is huge for us. Our defense wasn’t great on Steph, but I thought our offense carried us."
Lue praised Curry's ability to counter whatever defense the Clippers threw at him, but also praised the way LA was able to punch back offensively. It's never easy to survive an explosion from Steph Curry like that, but the Clippers did well to match his offense with efficiency on their end as well.
