Josh Jackson made his debut Friday night at the Lander's Center in Southaven, MS, as the Memphis Hustle defeated the Texas Legends 105-95.  Jackson would finish the game with 18 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, and three blocks. He was 7-16 from the field and 2-5 from the three-point line.  He played for 42 minutes and scored 16 of his 18 points in the first half.

"I think I played a pretty good game," said Jackson.  "I just let the game come to me. Shots that were open I took them. When guys were open I passed them the ball and they knocked down shots and made layups.  I felt like the game just came pretty easy.”

Hustle Head Coach Jason March said that he "loved his game tonight." and would continue to praise Jackson's effort on both ends of the court.

"It's all just about hard work," said Coach March, still wet from his team's Gatorade bath that they provided for him after his first win. "He's done that since he's been with us and I expect nothing less than for him to continue doing that."

It is still to be determined how long of a stint that Jackson will serve while playing in the G-League but one would assume that if he continues to fulfill the requirements that the Grizzlies organization has set in front of him, that he will eventually work his way up unto the main roster.  Until then Jackson seems to be in the right spirits and willing to do and be whatever his current team - the Memphis Hustle needs him to.
