Brian Windhorst, Zach Lowe Believe No One Wants To See Miami Heat In Playoffs

NBA analysts Brian Windhorst and Zach Lowe recently shared their feelings about the Miami Heat's chances in the postseason

The Miami Heat remain one of the Eastern Conference's greatest playoff threats, despite an inconsistent regular season.

The fear of them catching fire at the perfect moment looms for teams such as the Boston Celtics, Milwaukee Bucks, and New York Knicks. The Heat's historic NBA Finals run last year is the greatest example of their potential.

NBA analysts Brian Windhorst and Zach Lowe debunked why contenders hope to avoid the Heat in the postseason.

"They won in Sacramento the other night without six players. Their one game out of fourth," Windhorst said on an episode of NBA Today. "Those sly boys in Miami, here they come. Can't you see them? Zach, in that second round, playing the Celtics, can't you see it happening again?"

“Here’s the reaction of any good team in the East when they see Miami on the opposite side of the bracket. Oh God, these guys! This is going to be horrible, physical, nasty, mean in the mud. I don't care what their record is; I don't care what their seed is. Nobody wants to see these guys," Lowe said. "Nobody wants to see Jimmy Butler beating people up, Bam beating people up, and Spo on the sideline crafting zones and schemes and being one step ahead. Their a nightmare."

The Heat sit as the No. 5 seed in the East with a record of 33-25. Thursday evening marks a Finals rematch as Miami travels to take on Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets.
