Eastern Conference Recaps, March 15: Joel Embiid’s Big Game Led The Philadelphia 76ers To A Victory Against Cleveland Cavaliers

Joel Embiid recorded 36 points and four blocks in the 76ers' win against Cavaliers

The Philadelphia 76ers made sure the Cleveland Cavaliers didn’t get close enough to win in a 118-109 victory.

Joel Embiid dominated the game but found himself in foul trouble late in the fourth quarter. After an overturned call which would’ve given him his sixth foul, the Cavaliers took advantage in the paint, cutting the lead to 110-107. But the 76ers made five free-throws to secure the win.

Embiid led the 76ers with 36 points, 18 rebounds and four blocks. He became the first player since Shaquille O’Neal to have 30-plus points and three blocks in four consecutive games. James Harden had 28 points and 12 assists while Tyrese Maxey had 23 points.

Caris LeVert led the Cavaliers with 24 points off the bench and Donovan Mitchell had 21 points upon his return to the court.
