Eastern Conference Recaps, March 7: The Charlotte Hornets Snap The New York Knicks Nine-Game Winning Streak

The Charlotte Hornets defeated the New York Knicks 112-105, snapping their nine-game winning streak. The Knicks were the only undefeated team after the All-Star break.
The Hornets were down by 16 points at halftime but rallied back to end a three-game losing streak.
“I think at this point in time in the season everyone is tired,” said Gordon Hayward, who finished with 23 points. “You’re going through it and games are every other night and they obviously had some emotional wins, too. That’s another part of fatigue, not just the physical but the mental and the emotional. So for us to win tonight was big for our team.”
Kelly Oubre led the way with 27 points and Terry Rozier had 25. R.J. Barrett scored 27 points for the Knicks and Julius Randle had 16.
