Former Miami Heat Guard Mario Chalmers Shares LeBron James' Unusual Pregame Routine

Former Miami Heat guard Mario Chalmers recently shared the absurd pregame routine of Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James

Los Angeles Lakers' LeBron James is regarded as one of the greatest NBA players of all-time, but that doesn't come without a unique set of traits.

One of James' most interesting characteristics was recently revealed by former Miami Heat teammate Mario Chalmers. The tandem shared the floor under coach Erik Spoelstra from 2010 to 2014.

"That man [James] would lay his whole outfit all over the floor before the game and make sure everybody walks around it," Chalmers said in a podcast from Playmaker. "One time the media walked over the jersey, he snapped, and he made the equipment man get him a whole new jersey, shorts, tights, headband, armband, and socks and laid it right back out. Like Bron OCD, superstitious, you know you better walk all the way around it like it's a chalk outline."

James is less than 100 points from becoming the first in league history to cross the 40,000-point mark. His greatness has come with a multitude of stories and moments off the court that fascinate fans and teammates.

Another of James' former teammates, Thomas Bryant, added to Chalmers' story with one of his own from their time together on the Lakers.

"You know what's funny? He still has a seat. He has a seat right when you walk into the gym, and it was funny," Bryant said. "One of the teammates was trying to sit there, and they were like, 'Ay, ay, ay, no, no, no, don't sit there; that's Bron's seat; sit in the other seat.' They were like, 'you serious?' and he was like, 'yes.'"
