Frequent LeBron James Critic Skip Bayless Is Parting Ways With Shannon Sharpe

The two Undisputed! co-hosts, Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe, are reportedly done working together.

FOX Sports co-anchors Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless are allegedly finished on Undisputed! Sharpe is leaving the program after the NBA Final, per New York Post’s Ryan Glasspiegel.

The two have worked together for nearly a decade but this year may be the last time we see them on the same desk. Bayless and Sharpe are known for having heated arguments over a plethora of subjects, many of which feature NFL legend Tom Brady or former Miami Heat superstar LeBron James. But this year, the disputes accelerated beyond just sports debates. Many believe Bayless crossed the line on multiple occasions.

He defended Tampa Buccaneers quarterback Brady after a Dec. 11 blowout loss to the San Francisco 49ers, saying Brady was, “way better than [Sharpe] was.”

This was disrespectful considering Sharpe’s decorated career as an NFL tight end.

Then, on-air tension was more visibly present in a segment discussing Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin, who collapsed in the middle of a Jan. 2 game. Bayless tweeted about the importance of the game, rather than the condition of Hamlin. When discussing the subject within the coming days, Bayless and Sharpe had a tense scuffle that started behind the scenes.

Sharpe said the friction deteriorated but recent activity shows otherwise, after he supposedly liked posts criticizing Bayless.

Many expressed joy for his departure, alluding that he is better off without Bayless. Sports fans called for them to split after each incident, and it may be happening in real time.
