Frequent LeBron James Critic Skip Bayless Still Looking For Co-Host After Shannon Sharpe’s Departure

The popular FOX Sports show Undisputed! is taking a break after Shannon Sharpe officially exited last month. Sharpe and Skip Bayless sat across from each other for nearly a decade, debating everything from NFL legend Tom Brady to former Miami Heat superstar LeBron James.
However, growing tension within the last year was arguably the reason the two split. Their debates tend to get heated, but recent controversies went beyond just sports. Many believe Bayless crossed the line on many occasions, from insensitively tweeting about NFL safety Damar Hamlin’s health condition to aimlessly comparing Sharpe to Tom Brady.
Sharpe’s departure leaves a hole in the lineup. The blend of charisma, sports knowledge, and culture is what made him the formidable opponent to Bayless for seven years. The frontrunners to replace him are Joy Taylor, Nick Wright and LeSean McCoy. Bayless could also possibly recruit the ESPN personalities recently released, such as Max Kellerman or Keyshawn Johnson.
Bayless even said he would like to sit across from Charles Barkley, a constant critic of the Undisputed co-host throughout the years.
“Charles Barkley would be my dream debate partner on Undisputed,” Bayless said on a July 6 episode of the Skip Bayless Show. “I would dive out of bed every morning out here in Los Angeles at two o’clock in the morning to get to work with Charles. Please, Charles, please come and work with me, this ‘damn idiot.’”
Ok, that may be a stretch. But to fill the void Sharpe left, no personality is out of the question.
