Looking Back When It Appeared LeBron James Recruited Steve Nash To Miami Heat

In this story:
There are always theoretical scenarios in NBA history with star players joining certain teams.
The latest involves former MVP point guard Steve Nash going to the Miami Heat in 2011. An old LeBron James tweet resurfaced, entertaining the idea of Nash in Miami.
“Maybe Steve Nash in a Heat uni,” James said on social media in 2011. “So we can help each other get our first ring.”
Nash had a decorated career but never went to the Finals. Had he been on the Heat, he’d have several chances to acquire a championship. Could you imagine Nash with James, Chris Bosh, and Dwyane Wade, with Ray Allen off the bench? It’s safe to assume they’d be indulging in Finals success.
Maybe @SteveNash in a Heat uni! So we can help each other get our 1st ring

The fact they played similar positions could have caused conflict. James was practically a point guard in Miami, so that could reduce Nash’s role as a facilitator. This is why these situations remain theoretical.
