With one of his heroes sitting beside him, Dwyane Wade refused to hold back.

Among the many topics of Wade's Hall of Fame speech was his presenter, Allen Iverson. Wade gushed about how much he respected Iverson and how he changed NBA culture.

“I wore an arm sleeve throughout my career because A.I. did,” Wade said. “I respectfully wore the No. 3 throughout my college and NBA career to represent the love and the respect that I have for this man. So from the bottom of my heart, you are the culture. We love you and we thank you, Allen Iverson.”

Though Iverson's antics were criticized throughout his career, he still influenced Wade. Iverson encouraged players to be themselves. After decades of a strict dress code, the league decided to let players wear whatever. He also popularized the arm sleeve, which is still worn by many players.
