Miami Heat Say Tyler Herro Is "Making Progress" From Injury

Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro has missed the last nine games with a knee injury

Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro will not play in Wednesday's game against the Denver Nuggets

Before the game, Heat coach Erik Spoelstra offered an update on Herro's status. He's missed the last nine games because of a knee injury. Spoelstra said Herro is progressing in his rehab.

"He's making progress," Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said. "I don't have anything more for you but he's doing everything that he needs to do."

This is the second setback Herro has dealt with this season. He missed 18 games earlier due to a high ankle sprain.

Heat forward Jimmy Butler on Sunday's loss to the Washington Wizards: “We played their game more than we played ours. An up and down pickup game, and they’re good at that. They made shots tonight and we didn’t guard and that’s the league.”
