Miami Heat Welcome Dwyane Wade To Hall Of Fame Family With Cool Cartoon

Dwyane Wade was inducted to the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame this past weekend

The Miami Heat have found yet another creative way to welcome Dwyane Wade into their Hall of Fame family.

On Monday, they posted a cartoon graphic of him alongside all of the Heat’s other inductees. Wade was honored in Springfield, Mass., on Saturday, where he was presented into the Hall by legend Allen Iverson.

Starting from the front left of the artwork, the following inductees can be seen:

Back-to-back Defensive Player of the Year Alonzo Mourning, who spent the majority of his career in Miami.

Long-time assistant coach Bob McAdoo has won three championships with the team. McAdoo was inducted as a player in 2000.

Team president, Pat Riley, joined the coaching staff in 1996 and was inducted into the Hall in 2008.

Tim Hardaway was a five-time All-NBA team selection who spent six seasons with the Heat. He was honored as a Hall of Famer in 2022.

Wade, a three-time champion, is regarded as the greatest player in franchise history. He was selected as a first-ballot inductee and honored alongside the likes of Dirk Nowitzki and Gregg Popovich.

Former superstar Shaquille O’Neal spent four seasons alongside Wade, winning a championship in 2006. The dominant five-time NBA champion was inducted in 2016.

Guard Gary Payton spent two years in Miami as his career was winding down before retiring in 2007. Payton was inducted mostly for his time with the Seattle Supersonics in 2013.

Ray Allen and Chris Bosh were both a part of the Big Three era in Miami where they won a championship together in 2013. Allen was inducted in 2018 and Bosh in 2021.
