TOP PLAYER OF THE DAY:

Paolo Banchero added to his Rookie of the Year campaign with 29 points, eight rebounds and four assists in the Orlando Magic’s win over the New Orleans Pelicans.

"He did a great job of staying aggressive, getting to the free-throw line … getting to his spots, and knocking them down with confidence,” Magic guard Markelle Fultz said. "When he’s playing like that it helps our team go. Everybody’s super excited for him.”

Banchero has 30 games with at least 20 points, which is second-best in franchise history behind Shaquille O'Neal (60).

-Julius Randle had 23 points, seven rebounds and four assists in the New York Knicks' win against the Boston Celtics. This win put New York in fifth place of the conference standings and knocked out Boston from the top spot. After going 8-7 in January, the Knicks bounced back with their best month of the season. They went 9-2 in February, their best winning percentage in a month since 1989-90.

- Despite the loss, Boston Celtics guard Malcolm Brogdon is solidifying his Sixth Man of Year case with more solid performances. Brogdon had a team-high 22 points off the bench.

- Pistons center James Wiseman had 23 points and seven rebounds against the Hornets. Since his trade from Golden State, Wiseman is averaging 13 points and eight rebounds.
