Western Conference Recaps, March 20: The Golden State Warriors Conquer Road Woes In A Victory Against Houston Rockets

The Warriors snapped a 11-game road losing streak with a victory against Rockets

The Golden State Warriors road troubles finally came to an end.

Behind Stephen Curry’s 30 points, they defeated the Western Conference-worst Houston Rockets 121-108, snapping a 11-game road losing streak.

“It’s been a long time,” Warriors coach Steve Kerr said. “I don’t remember the last road game we won. It’s been a while.”

Klay Thompson had 29 points and Jonathan Kuminga led all reserves with 17. Rookie Tari Eason led the Rockets with 21 points and 12 rebounds and Jalen Green had 20 points.

OTHER NOTES:

-The Memphis Grizzlies outscored the Dallas Mavericks 29-12 in the fourth quarter to take a 112-108 victory. Jaren Jackson led the way with 28 points and Santi Aldama had a career-high 22 points and 14 rebounds off the bench. Kyrie Irving led the Mavericks with 28 points.

NEXT MAVERICKS GAME AGAINST THE HEAT: Apr. 1 at Miami

-All five Utah Jazz players scored double-figure points to capture a 128-124 victory against the Sacramento Kings. Rookie Ochai Agbaji led the way with 27 points and Kelly Olynyk had 19 points and 10 rebounds.

De’Aaron Fox led the Kings with 37 points and rookie Keegan Murray had 22.
