Western Conference Recaps, March 25: New Orleans Pelicans Put On A Shooting Display Against Los Angeles Clippers

The New Orleans Pelicans hit 21 3-pointers in the victory against Los Angeles Clippers

The New Orleans Pelicans used their best 3-point shooting night to secure a victory.

They tied their franchise-high with 21 3-pointers in a 131-110 victory against the Los Angeles Clippers. Trey Murphy had 32 points while hitting a career-high 10 3-pointers on 12 attempts.

“I just see his confidence going up and up,” said Brandon Ingram, who also had 32 points and a career-high 13 assists.. “He’s the best shooter on the team”

CJ McCollum had 21 points and Jonas Valanciunas had 17 points and 13 rebounds.

While Kawhi Leonard struggled, Bones Hyland led the Clippers with 18 points off the bench. Eric Gordon had 15 points and Russell Westbrook recorded 14.

OTHER NOTES:

-With De’Aaron Fox sidelined due to a hamstring injury, Kevin Huerter scored 27 points to lead the Sacramento Kings to a 121-113 victory against the Utah Jazz. Keegan Murray scored 22 points and Domantas Sabonis recorded 16 points and 15 rebounds. Rookie Walker Kessler led the Jazz with 31 points and 11 rebounds.

-The Phoenix Suns rode Devin Booker’s 29 points to a 125-105 victory against the Philadelphia 76ers. Bismack Biyombo had a season-high 17 points and 13 rebounds while Chris Paul had 13 points.

Tyrese Maxey scored 37 points for the 76ers and Joel Embiid had 28 points and 10 rebounds.
