Golden State Warriors’ Draymond Green Says Boston Celtics "Are Who We Thought They Were" After Loss To Miami Heat

In this story:
Once the championship-favorites Boston Celtics tied the Eastern Conference Finals series 3-3 against the Miami Heat, everyone thought they would close it out.
But it didn’t turn out that way.
The duo of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown failed to show up once again and the Heat advanced to the NBA Finals for the second time in four years.
While every pundit was surprised the Celtics lost, Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green wasn’t. In a recent episode of his podcast The Draymond Green Show, he said knew they would choke in Game 7.
"The Boston Celtics are who we thought they were… They did not look like they were ready for the moment… All of a sudden they looked like they couldn't play basketball with their left hand again."

"The Boston Celtics are who we thought they were,” Green said. “They did not look like they were ready for the moment. All of a sudden they looked like they couldn't play basketball with their left hand again."
Green, who had his battles with the Celtics in the 2022 Finals, went on to say he was happy about their loss.
“Boston Celtics fans will make excuses, and I ain’t hearing none of that,” he said. “Because y’all rude, and I’m happy y’all lost. Not happy JT lost, but Boston Celtics fans, especially those of you that are in that arena.”
Granted, Tatum went down with an ankle injury in the opening minutes of the first quarter but he chose to stay in the game. Also, the Celtics’ defensive-stalwart Robert Williams was battling a stomach bug which caused to constantly leave the court to throw up.
But at the end of the day, the Celtics had the opportunity to make a second straight Finals appearance and failed to do so.
