The Miami Heat just couldn't hold on down the stretch in their loss to the Boston Celtics.

The Celtics' balanced scoring attack, paired with complementary defense, ultimately gave them the victory. Everyone in Boston's starting lineup scored at least 17 points, collectively shooting 50 percent from the field. Meanwhile, Heat superstar Jimmy Butler was just 3 of 11 for 14 points. Most Heat fans actually took this loss positively, alluding to them barely losing to a peak Boston team at full strength.

"No Caleb, no J-Rich, no Highsmith, all while the refs clearly helping the Celtics win the game in the 4Q and Heat still made it a dogfight game," user HeatCulture said. "We ran it back with the same roster and we are still better than the Celtics when we are fully healthy and Jimmy was trolling tonight. Gotta bounce back tomorrow."

But honestly, Heat fans were practically sharing the comments with trash-talking Celtics fans.

Miami had no answer for Derrick White, who finished Friday night with 28 points (5-7 from 3-point range), six rebounds and three blocks.

The Heat and Celtics have played in the Eastern Conference finals the last two seasons, with each team capturing one series. They are likely headed for another postseason matchup this season because both teams remain among the top teams in the conference.
