How Miami Heat’s Twitter Reacted to the Win Against the Atlanta Hawks Monday Night

In this story:
Last week, Miami Heat fans were concerned about losing control of the division to the Atlanta Hawks. Their consecutive wins against Atlanta limited that concern temporarily, putting the Heat 2.5 games in front of the Hawks.

Monday night was one of the Heat’s most complete games in the second half of the season. Miami had multiple volume scorers instead of Jimmy Butler, Tyler Herro or Bam Adebayo carrying on the offensive end. Victor Oladipo, Duncan Robinson and Caleb Martin had solid performances off the bench. This game showed why fans wanted Martin as a backup wing. He finished the night with 21 points and four rebounds. Oladipo was averaging 5.5 points since the All-Star break but had 22 Monday night, including four shots from downtown. Robinson hasn’t played much this season but had 14 to give Miami a boost.
“Man, this bench performance reminded me of last season, 58 points off the bench,” user HeatCulture said. Shoutout to Caleb, Dipo and Duncan for keeping us alive to win this game. Jimmy has been insane since the break, we need all the Ws we can get at this point. Keep the momentum going.”

The Heat found their rhythm from the arc, shooting 55.2 percent from that area. Miami is 2-1 since the All-Star break when they shoot at least 40 percent from 3-point range.
We got shooters

The efficiency from 3-point range and high-scoring performances from the bench was reminiscent of last year’s team, which ranked No. 1 in the Eastern Conference and went all the way to the Eastern Finals. The Heat will need more games like this if they want to make noise in the postseason. They play the Cleveland Cavaliers (41-26) tomorrow night.
