Paul George Compares LeBron James' Rivalries With Dillon Brooks And Lance Stephenson

Even though the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Memphis Grizzlies 4-2 in the first round, the “beef” between LeBron James and Dillon Brooks still gets discussed.
On a recent episode of Paul George’s “The Podcast P Show”, George touched on the situation and questioned why Brooks decided to go after James.
“Being an agitator is like a slippery slope,” George said. “You’re Dillon Brooks, like, you don’t get 25 shots a night. Bron does. You don’t think he’s going to hit shots? You don’t think he’s gonna make shots? Like he’s gonna play well.”
The dislike between James and Brooks started during the Grizzlies’ Game 2 victory. Afterward, Brooks called James “old” and said he “pokes bears”.
George applauded James because he thought responding would be a waste of time.
“When you’re comparing the two, like, why the f**k would Bron answer to Dillon Brooks?” George continued. “What have you done? Prove yourself first.”
George compared it to James' rivalry with Lance Stephenson during the Miami Heat-Indiana Pacers from the early 2010s. George and Stephenson were teammates at the time.
“The reason Lance was on Bron for those moments was because I was in foul trouble,” George said. “For the series, I’m guarding Bron. Like bro. Like, what the f**k you doing? But I thought we stood behind Lance. After he did that opposed to like getting on him about it or breaking up about it. We backed him up. It made for us to just raise the intensity.”
