When Coco Guaff won her first match in the French Open, she said she was inspired by the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference finals against the Boston Celtics

Now, she's continuing to ride the Heat's momentum.

Guaff rallied to defeat Mirra Andreeva 6-7 (5), 6-1, 6-1, reaching the fourth round. She plays Anna Karolina Schmiedlova with a berth in the quarterfinals on the line

“[Andreeva] is super young, so she has a lot to look forward to,” Gauff said in the post-match interview. “I’m sure we’re going to have many more battles in the future. … I remember when I was 16. I didn’t care who I was playing against, and she has that kind of game and mentality, too.”

Earlier this year, Gauff expressed how much of a Heat fan she is after Jimmy Butler attended her match at the Miami Open. Before the playoffs began, Gauff said Butler offered her tickets to the Finals.
