Lakers Trade Thomas Bryant to Denver

The Denver Nuggets have been searching for some help in the frontcourt, particularly to backup Nikola Jokic at center.
Minutes ago, they found that help by striking a deal with the Los Angeles Lakers to acquire Thomas Bryant. In return, L.A. receives Davon Reed and second-round draft picks in 2025, 2026, and 2029, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
In 41 games this season, Bryant has averaged 12.1 points and 6.8 rebounds per game.
This is a move that shrinks the market for Charlotte Hornets center Mason Plumlee, who has been linked to several trade rumors in the last few weeks. Other possible destinations for him include the Sacramento Kings and the Los Angeles Clippers.
