According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, the Boston Celtics are trading Justin Jackson and a pair of second round draft picks to the Oklahoma City Thunder in exchange for Mike Muscala.

Muscala was in his fourth season with the organization, primarily used as a second/third option off the bench at center. He will likely have a similar role in Boston in a frontcourt that features Al Horford, Robert Williams III, and Grant Williams.

Jackson, a former UNC product, has bounced around since entering the league playing for six different teams (Kings, Mavericks, Thunder, Celtics, Suns, and Bucks). In his first stint with OKC in 2020-21, Jackson appeared in 33 games and averaged 7.2 points and 2.2 rebounds per game.
