Despite being unable to find his footing in the NBA, former Utah Jazz guard, Justin Wright-Foreman inked a new deal with a team in Canada on Monday. Per Alberto De Roa of HoopsHype, the 25-year-old will be playing for the Saskatchewan Rattlers for the 2023 season in the CEBL (Canadian Elite Basketball League).

The CEBL is a newer basketball league established in Canada, with it’s debut season beginning in 2019. Canada Basketball has recognized the league as the premier professional league in the country. Now, the league will have not only NBA representation, but some Jazz representation as well.

Wright-Foreman had a short career with the Jazz, considering he only played a total of four NBA games with the team. After being drafted 53rd overall in 2019, he averaged 4.3 points, 1.3 rebounds, and 1.8 assists in his short stint with the franchise. Since the 2019-20 season, he hasn’t gotten another shot in the league.

Sadly, it seems like the league didn’t give him much of a chance in the end. However, Wright-Foreman will have the chance to make an impact in Saskatchewan to lead the Rattlers to their second-ever CEBL championship win.
