In what may be pleasant news for Utah Jazz fans, the team has decided to make a slight switch-up to their jersey selections across the second half of the 2023-24 NBA season. After introducing their bold, bright, neon-yellow Icon jerseys just a year ago, the future of seeing them on the floor again is getting bleak.

By glancing at the Jazz jersey schedule for the second half of the season, their yellow Icon uniforms that were once set to be worn a few more times across the year have now been taken off.

During the first half of the NBA season, the Icon jerseys got scheduled a slim five times. For the second half, that total has now dropped down to zero.

Instead, Utah has decided to wear its beloved purple uniforms on a few more occasions, along with their typical white Association and black Statement jerseys. The change in fashion should be welcomed by many, considering the controversial nature of the Jazz’s newly implemented color scheme. Seemingly, not many are fans of the neon, and it seems Utah has noticed.

Taking into account how well the new purple uniforms have been perceived, this decision was probably the wisest to make. The New Orleans-themed Classic jerseys are scheduled to hit the floor three more times this season, while their modern City jerseys will come out another seven.

Utah may continue to adjust its branding and designs moving forward into this offseason and beyond, making for something for Jazz fans to take note of in the coming months. In the meantime, enjoy
