We're now in the month of June, meaning the NBA Draft is approaching, sneaking up on fans and the league as a whole as these Finals continue to be played. However, the Utah Jazz are working diligently around the clock scouting the team’s next young players. One of these guys coming into Utah’s facility next week to workout will be none other than Eastern Michigan's Emoni Bates.

Bates, who was once viewed as one of the best offensive recruits in recent history has since seen a massive drop off in terms of how he’s viewed as an NBA prospect. Currently ranked 51st on ESPN’s prospect rankings, it’ll be extremely interesting to see where he ends up come draft night.

For the Jazz, you’d think the guys in the front office would look to take a flier on Batesl maybe with their late 28th overall pick, but more likely as an undrafted free agent. Considering the drop he’s seen in his stock due to both on and off-court situations, seeing him fall completely out of the draft is something on the table.

Keeping this in mind, Utah is doing everything they should to see who the best fit would be on the team come next October. Jazz fans will have to continue to stay posted on both this, and other prospect workouts that look to be done during this exciting draft process.
