Tip your cap to Talen Horton-Tucker for leading the Utah Jazz to victory in Texas.

The Utah Jazz defeated the San Antonio Spurs, 128-117, on Wednesday night in an almost must-win contest to remain in the playoff picture. The victory raised the Jazz to 36-40 on the season, retaining the No. 12 seed in the Western Conference. The Jazz seized control of this contest from the tip and performed like a team that refuses to make summer vacation plans.

But there was one Jazzman in particular who decided to show up and show out to the tune of a career-high 41 points: Talen Horton-Tucker. Easily his most dominant game as a professional, he also dished out five assists, grabbed four boards, and a steal.

'THT' also shot 60% from the field while connecting on six three-point shots and registered a +2 game rating. The stat line does not reflect how truly dominant he was, as the Spurs could attest to in awe.

Including Horton-Tucker, Utah recorded a total of five double-digit scorers. Kris Dunn scored 17 points, Udoka Azubuike dropped 12, while Ochai Agbaji and Johnny Juzang each scored 10 points. 11 total Jazzmen saw action, and everyone scored.

THT set the table, and his teammates followed his lead. Hopefully, Jazz head coach Will Hardy will be able to extract this type of individual and group effort for the remainder of the regular season.

The Jazz will next face the Boston Celtics on the road Friday night in another must-win ordeal to keep the postseason possibilities open.
