1. Native of Turkey
Listed at 6'9, Ilyasova was born in Turkey. He was selected by the Milwaukee Bucks in the second round of the 2005 NBA Draft.
2. NBA Veteran
Ersan Ilyasova is an NBA veteran - he entered the league in 2006. He spent most of his time in Milwaukee. He also had stops in Philadelphia, Atlanta, Detroit, Orlando, and Oklahoma City. Through his career, he has averaged 10.3 points per game and 5.7 rebounds per game.
His most recent stop was in Milwaukee where he averaged 6.6 points per game and 4.8 rebounds per game in 2019-2020.
Ilyasova does a little bit of everything. He can knock down an open three, find an open teammate, and protect the rim. Check out his highlights from the 2018/2019 season - his versatility stands out.
The Jazz needed some additional depth along the frontcourt, and Ilyasova will be a nice asset to have down the home stretch of the season.
