The Sacramento Kings have fallen to 0-4 in the 2023 preseason, with back-to-back losses to the Golden State Warriors. The Kings fell to the Warriors by one point on Wednesday night, as future Hall of Fame G Stephen Curry drilled a game-winning three-pointer with eight seconds left.

Despite four consecutive losses, the Kings will be able to use what they have learned throughout the preseason and come out strong to start regular season action. All-Star G De'Aaron Fox is taking his game to the next level, while sophomore F Keegan Murray is stepping into a more prominent role.

The Warriors took down the Kings in the first round of the 2023 NBA Playoffs, as Curry put on several masterclass performances. After a 30-point outing in their preseason matchup on Wednesday night, Kings HC Mike Brown had nothing but praise for him (via @SeanCunningham / X):

"As we know, Steph is a great player. We threw multiple defenders at him tonight and you have to give credit. He shot 8-12 from the three-point line, and I don't know how many he made in the fourth, but he made a couple of really, really tough ones... We gave up 40 points [in the fourth quarter] and a lot of those points were to Steph, especially to Steph behind the three-point line... You've got a great player in Steph that made some big threes down the stretch, and you give him credit for doing that."

Brown was an assistant coach on the Warriors for six years and won three championships, so he is used to Curry doing phenomenal things on the basketball court.

The Kings and Warriors face off two more times in the next two weeks, as these teams are certainly getting tired of each other.

When the Warriors beat the Kings in the first round of the 2023 playoffs, Curry averaged 33.7 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 4.9 assists per game on 49/39/83 shooting splits, capped off by a 50-point outing in Game 7.

The Kings have to be sick of playing against the best shooter of all time. The Warriors visit Sacramento for the Kings' regular season home opener on October 27th, where Brown and company can get revenge.
