Kings All-Star G De’Aaron Fox To Return ‘As Soon as Tonight’ vs. Cavs

In this story:
There are not many players who have as important of an impact as G De'Aaron Fox does on the Sacramento Kings, and it showed in his absence. The Kings went 2-3 with Fox sidelined after an ankle injury suffered in the fourth quarter against the Los Angeles Lakers - one loss to the Golden State Warriors and two blowout losses to the Houston Rockets. The Kings were able to turn it around and pull out two wins against the Portland Trail Blazers and the Oklahoma City Thunder, but it became very apparent that Fox was the heart of the team.
Today, however, is a great day to be a Kings fan. The 4-4 team may get to see the return of their franchise player tonight against the Cleveland Cavaliers after he was a full participant in Sunday's practice and a full participant in Monday's shootaround.
Sacramento Kings All-Star De’Aaron Fox is expected to return to lineup as soon as tonight vs. Cavaliers, or Wednesday at Lakers, sources tell me and @sam_amick. Fox has missed last five games due to a sprained ankle. He was a full participant in today’s shootaround.

Kings HC Mike Brown provided an update to Sean Cunningham of FOX40 on Sunday about Fox's health, speaking about how there was no timetable and that he could return soon:
“He looked good. No timetable, we’ll see how he feels today, and we’ll see how he feels tomorrow. So, no timetable, but he looked good today...I always like a guy whenever he’s been out for a significant time, through this or that, or injury, or whatever, for him to get a contact practice in or something contact-wise. I’d like to watch that. But, other than that, he okays it, our medical team okays it, the doctor okays it, usually, I’ll be on board."
The All-NBA guard is still a game-time decision for the matchup vs. the Cavs, however, hopes are high and if we do not see him return Monday, it is more than likely we will see his return Friday, November 10, as the Kings continue their NBA In-season Tournament play against the San Antonio Spurs.
The Kings take on the Cavaliers at 7 p.m. PT/10 p.m. ET.
