Eye-Catching Trade Proposal for Kings To Steal Suns Depth

In this story:
The Sacramento Kings and Phoenix Suns battled in a Pacific Division matchup on Friday, as the Kings came out on top 114-106. Despite the win, the Kings struggled against a short-handed Suns squad with Kevin Durant, Bradley Beal, and Grayson Allen all sidelined.
The Kings and Suns are fighting for playoff position and a shot to win the Pacific Division, as both teams could benefit from a trade. The Suns lack point guard depth, while the Kings have discovered they have a plethora of rotational guards.
If the Kings are looking to upgrade their holes in the lineup, and the Suns are looking to acquire more guard depth, then here is a trade proposal that benefits both sides:
Sacramento Kings receive: Eric Gordon, Drew Eubanks, Bol Bol
Phoenix Suns receive: Davion Mitchell, Chris Duarte, JaVale McGee, 2024 second-round pick, 2025 second-round pick
The Kings could upgrade their backup center position by getting Eubanks, a 26-year-old who fits Sacramento's timeline. The Kings prefer to play a small ball lineup while All-Star Domantas Sabonis is resting, as the 6'9" big man would be a perfect candidate to fill in for Sabonis while on the bench.
Swapping centers in Eubanks and McGee should benefit both sides, as the veteran McGee would be a better fit for Phoenix in their second unit. The seven-footer gives the Suns more size off the bench and he can team up with former Golden State Warriors teammate Durant.
Gordon, 34, is a career 37% three-point shooter, including 40% from deep this season. While Phoenix would unlikely give up on their best sharpshooter, getting Mitchell and Duarte in return could be more beneficial depth-wise.
When the Suns are at full strength with Beal, Durant, and Devin Booker on the floor, Gordon, Eubanks, and Bol will not be as big of a factor. The Kings could give Bol another opportunity to spread his wings and show his potential, as Sacramento lacks size on the wing, and his two-way prowess could be beneficial.
Mitchell, 25, is a young point guard to fill the one clear weakness within the Suns lineup. Duarte, 26, is a downgrade from Gordon, but his ability to guard taller wings makes more sense within the Suns lineup. Mitchell and Duarte are both impressive defenders, surrounding the star trio in Phoenix with effective role players.
While neither team would want to make their division rival stronger, this balanced trade would give Sacramento and Phoenix an edge to dethrone the Los Angeles Lakers for first place in the Pacific Division.
