'Tired Asf:' Knicks' Mitchell Robinson Vents on Snapchat

In a since-deleted Snapchat story, Mitchell Robinson voiced apparent displeasure with his role on the New York Knicks.

It's been hard to say anything negative about this New York Knicks season. But one of its most notable contributors has apparently found a way.

Knicks starting center Mitchell Robinson has taken to Snapchat to vent about his role on the team. Though he has deleted the posts from his Snapchat Story, Robinson appears to be displeased with the way this year has gone for him.

"Tired asf [sic] of just being out there for cardio fam," Robinson wrote in front of a black space. "I want to play basketball to really just wasting my time and energy."

Robinson closed his statement with a facepalm emoji. He later declared he was "disappearing for a while" in another post, but both have since been deleted.

Joining the Knicks as a second-round pick in 2018, Robinson has become a staple in the team's starting five. Over the offseason, Robinson inked a four-year deal worth $72 million to stay with the team. Over 49 games this season, Robinson is pulling down a career-best 9.1 rebounds a game and averaging 7.5 points. Most of his scoring has come under the basket, making his offensive living off of shots under the basket and shooting just over 71 percent from the field in his career.

Though Robinson is the Knicks' starting center when healthy, the late interior minutes have often gone to newcomer Isaiah Hartenstein, which could serve as the source of Robinson's frustration. While it appears that Robinson's spot in the starting five is safe, he may have to expand his offensive game beyond below the basket if he wants to partake in the major minutes come playoff time.

Robinson and the Knicks (41-30), winners of their last two, return to action on Saturday afternoon when they take on the Western Conference-leading Denver Nuggets (1 p.m. ET, MSG).
