Lakers Injury Report: LeBron James, Anthony Davis May Not Play Blazers Game

Not ideal.

I figured we'd have a little more news to go off of than this, with just half an hour remaining till a 7 p.m. PT tipoff.

Per the league's latest injury report, Los Angeles Lakers superstars Anthony Davis and LeBron James may not suit up for what was looking like a road cakewalk against a Portland Trail Blazers team missing more bodies than even LA.

Given that both players are both north of 30 and have several consecutive seasons with major injury issues under their belts, it's perhaps not surprising that they're missing time early.

James, 38, is dealing with a left calf contusion, and is considered questionable to play as of this writing. Davis, 30, is at least probable to suit up, and play through the left adductor/hip spasm he's been dealing with for the past week.

LA's three two-way players -- center Colin Castleton, guard D'Moi Hodge and wing Alex Fudge -- are all sidelined. Rookie guard Jalen Hood-Schifino (right patella contusion), veteran point guard Gabe Vincent (left knee effusion), and power forward Jarred Vanderbilt (left heel bursitis) are all out for the Lakers, as well.
