The Los Angeles Lakers have seen a number of huge roster moves in just the first few hours of free agency. We've seen the likes of 2023 breakout guard Gabe Vincent among other names find his way to the purple and gold and now they have added someone that they've had their eyes on for quite some time.

Cam Reddish is only 23-years-old and is a 6'7 wing that has always been viewed as someone with a ton of potential on both ends of the floor but has never been able to pan out in the professionals. However, he will receive yet another opportunity now with the Lakers as he has reportedly agreed to a two-year deal with the squad.

Shams Charania was the first to report the news.

"Free agent Cam Reddish has agreed to a two-year deal with the Lakers, sources tell@TheAthletic@Stadium"

Reddish was viewed as one of the best players in his class coming out of high school and he played on a LOADED Duke squad in 2019 with Zion Williamson and RJ Barrett before getting drafted to the Atlanta Hawks at number 10.

He has never averaged over 12 points in a single season in his career and his highest three-point percentage was at 37 percent in his 2021-2022 campaign with the Hawks. Since the, he's found his way onto both the New York Knicks and Portland Trailblazers via trade but both squads didn't vet him as a legitimate part of their futures.

Reddish still holds a lot of value around the league due to his high school and college resume and because he holds physical traits that leave his potential pretty high. However, he has a long way to go to truly fulfill the expectations that were once placed on him.

Let's hope that he finds a nice catch and shoot roll with a ton of spacing that will come playing alongside LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
