Reddish put up seven points in 18 minutes during a 119-107 loss to the Denver Nuggets in his regular season LA debut Tuesday, where he specifically stood out on the defensive side of the ball.
As a 6'7” hyper-athletic wing who has put on serious size over the past couple of seasons, Reddish profiles is a really solid defensive weapon for the Lakers for the rest of the season.
With the injury to Jarred Vanderbilt, the Lakers are down a critical defensive piece that could be well-utilized in the collective effort to stop Kevin Durant, who is the only Suns star playing today.
Injuries to Bradley Beal and Devin Booker will make tonight's path a lot easier for the Lakers, but question marks remain about how the team will fare.
One way or another, however, having Reddish out there should definitely help, at least defensively.
