1. MAGIC GRABS ANOTHER WIN VS. NETS

"I don't know anyone who loves the game of basketball ... that wants to lose," Markelle Fultz said. "Our team is definitely not trying to lose. We're focusing on trying to get better every day.

"At this point in the season, battles of philosophy begin to take place. Is it best to lose games in order for a chance at a better pick or is it more important to continue practicing what you preach."

2. MAGIC STILL IN PLAY FOR NO. 1 PICK?

"The Magic is currently slated for a 10.5 percent chance at coming out victorious. While the team can only win a maximum of 39 games and only 10 teams around the association have 40 or more victories, Orlando is near-locks to qualify for the lottery."

3. DENNIS SCOTT DEEMED MAGIC 'PILLAR'

"Being one of the pillars that helped the fans of Orlando and Central Florida, to fall in love with basketball," Scott said. "If I recall, when I first got here, it was more of a college town, it wasn't really an NBA town. So I think I'm one of those guys that helped change the narrative or the mindset that, 'hey, if I have extra cash, I can go watch a quality NBA game and fall in love with some young guys."
