In this story:

1. MAGIC FACE JAZZ TONIGHT

"The Orlando Magic looks to snap a two-game losing streak tomorrow night as Lauri Markkanen and the Utah Jazz come to town.

"To learn more about the Jazz's current agenda, we spoke with The Frozen Rope: Inside the Jazz publisher Patrick Byrnes."

2. KEVIN DURANT INJURED

Kevin Durant was expected to make his home debut for the Phoenix Suns tonight, but the basketball injury gods had different plans, according to The Athletic.

The Suns have won each of the first three games Durant has appeared in, but tonight he sits in a crucial game against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

There's no telling how long he'll be out, but if it lingers, he may miss a meeting against the Orlando Magic next Thursday.

3. PAOLO IS A FORCE

“He is the number one pick," Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard said. "He is a force and you have to address him and deal with him. I think he will continue to get better. He will continue to understand how to use what he can do to empower and make everyone out there better. That’s his first year. That development will continue to happen. I think he has had a very good season.”

4. THURSDAY'S GAMES

5. NEXT MAGIC GAME
