After a competitive start to the game, Memphis would begin to pull away as the second quarter came to a close.

At halftime, the Hustle led 75-64 over Osceola after outscoring the Magic by nine points in the second quarter.

Shots didn’t seem to be falling for Osceola to start the third quarter as well, as the team seemed to struggle with the pace of Memphis, who was playing its third game in five days but is among the league leaders in pace, a fitting statistic for the Hustle.

As the third quarter drew to a close, the Magic started to find its rhythm, foreshadowing an absolute takeover from star guard Mac McClung.

Much like Velveeta Mac and Cheese, Mac was liquid gold this game, finishing as the scoring leader for his second straight contest. McClung followed up his 38-point outing on Thursday with a 44-point masterclass in shooting.

In this game, McClung would shoot 56.5 percent from the field and over 46 percent from three-point range.

Aiding McClung in the comeback was Trevelin Queen, who dropped 23 points and was responsible for taking the lead late in the fourth quarter.

Now that the team has won consecutive games at home to make the franchise undefeated in Osceola, it will look to continue its newfound success on the road as the Magic plays its next four games away.

Osceola will play its next game on Wednesday against the Houston Rockets affiliate, the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, which is 2-1 through three games.
