Mavericks' Reggie Bullock Buys Island, Posts First Look on Social Media

Reggie Bullock doesn't just knock down open 3-pointers -- he invests in tropical islands for family and friends.

"1, 2, 3, Bullock Island!"

Wait, that's not the right saying...

But, if the last two games don't go as planned for the Dallas Mavericks, they might as well take the team plane down to Bullock Island to kick off a mighty long offseason.

On Monday, Mavericks forward Reggie Bullock posted on his Instagram to introduce the first look of "Bullock Island" via video.

In a May 23 interview with Andscape last year, Bullock spoke on his investments, which included a 5-acre island in Belize.

"I’ve been looking for different things to invest my money in," Bullock said. "I found an opportunity down in Belize where I purchased an island that was about 5 acres that I am going to put resort villas on. It’s a vacation spot for me and my family where other people will be able to attend and enjoy different vacation activities."

Bullock added that he plans to build a '4,000-square-foot home' for he and his family along with several villas for potential vacationer with a number of amenities like a basketball court, restaurant, and infinity pool.

By the looks of it, Bullock Island isn't quite ready for vacationers quite just yet, so the Mavs will have to opt for other island destinations if their play-in tournament efforts fall short against the Oklahoma City Thunder. With two games left, the Mavs can still reach the postseason with either of these two scenarios:

1) Mavs go 2-0, Thunder go 1-1

2) Mavs go 1-1, Thunder go 0-2
