LeBron James' Injury Status vs. Denver Nuggets Revealed
The Los Angeles Lakers and Denver Nuggets are set to face off in a Western Conference Finals rematch on Saturday evening, and superstar forward LeBron James is being listed as questionable on the injury report with left ankle peroneal tendinopathy.
James has been listed on the injury report with this left ankle peroneal tendinopathy for several games, and while he did miss three games in the month of February, the Lakers star has mostly ended up available even when listed on the injury report. Each game is big for the Lakers between now and the end of the regular season, as they now sit in 10th place in the Western Conference.
For the Nuggets, they are also in a seeding battle, but theirs comes atop the Western Conference with teams like the Minnesota Timberwolves, Oklahoma City Thunder, and LA Clippers. Looking to regain their spot atop the Western Conference, Denver wants to secure home court advantage throughout the playoffs is possible.
While the Nuggets were able to sweep the Lakers in last year's Western Conference Finals, all of those games were relatively close, but Los Angeles was unable to execute the way Denver did down the stretch.
With LeBron James and Anthony Davis, the Lakers are always dangerous. That said, Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray have regularly outplayed them, and will look to do so again on Saturday.
