Michael Malone Speaks Again on Lakers-Nuggets Trash Talk

In this story:
The Los Angeles Lakers have been responding to some of the offseason trash talk from the Denver Nuggets. When asked about this during a recent appearance on SiriusXM NBA Radio, Nuggets head coach Michael Malone downplayed it all, and said the following:
"I don't get it and I don't really spend any time worrying about it. One thing I learned from my mother and father many years ago is you gotta be true to yourself... I'm gonna be me, I'm gonna support my guys, defend my guys and ride with my guys through the ups, through the downs, the wins and the losses. That's the only people I care about is that 17 players in the locker room, my family and all of our fans back in Denver."
“I don’t get it and I really don’t spend any time worrying about”.

No longer worried about the Lakers or how they feel, Malone is going to always defend his players when necessary, but doesn't worry about anything outside of that. Always staying true to himself and his players, Malone realizes that sometimes comes with some pushback, but he will always back his team.
There has been a lot of back and forth between Denver and LA since the Lakers made it known at media day they heard some of the offseason noise, but it will likely die down once the season begins again in a couple weeks.
