The Denver Nuggets are three wins away from being crowned NBA Champions, and they have made history on a regular basis throughout these playoffs. While it has primarily been Nikola Jokic breaking NBA records, his co-star Jamal Murray has also been playing incredible basketball, and has reached historic heights himself.

In their NBA Finals Game 1 victory over the Miami Heat, Jokic and Murray joined Michael Jordan and Russell Westbrook as the only players in NBA history with at least 25 PTS, 10 AST, and 5 REB in their Finals debut.

Jordan had 36 PTS, 12 AST, and 8 REB in his NBA Finals debut in 1991, while Westbrook went for 27 PTS, 11 AST, and 8 REB in his Finals debut in 2012. This is an incredibly impressive list that Murray and Jokic joined, as the two Nuggets stars continue to lead their team to unprecedented heights.

The statistical dominance between Jokic and Murray has been incredible this postseason, but the most important element of their play is that way it has translated to wins. Denver is still unbeaten on their home floor this postseason, and has been nearly unbeatable everywhere else, too. Now three wins away from an NBA championship, Jokic, Murray, and the entire Nuggets team is focused on bringing a title to Denver.

If Jokic and Murray continue this level of play, it will be very difficult for Miami to keep up.
